Director, Business Development

We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our leading life-sciences training company as the Director of Business Development. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for promoting Encompass’s proprietary solutions to pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
- Bachelor’s degree with more than 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry in a training, sales, marketing, commercial operations, and / or business development capacity
- 5+ years on the client or service side or 7+ years in a selling capacity selling to pharmaceutical industry sales, marketing, or operations decision makers
- Healthcare products sales and/or device sales experience is helpful/not required
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and very strong platform skills
- Ability to think strategically and tactically both, short-and long-term relative to customer and industry
- Existing network of industry contacts and a track record of closing business deals
- Demonstration of strong character and business ethics, particularly work ethic, integrity, and honesty
- Ability to travel up to 40% of time
- Alignment with Encompass’s vision and organizational goals
- Ability to work in non-conventional, remote-based office setting
