Joanna leads the regulatory submissions department at Encompass. With more than 2 decades of experience in regulatory affairs, both from inside pharma and as an agency partner, Joanna has been instrumental in guiding Encompass through the regulatory review landscape, ensuring compliance and excellence at every step. Immersed in Veeva Vault since 2012, she has led the team in bringing clarity and structure to the MLR process across more than a dozen clients and different therapeutic areas. Joanna’s expertise allows her to think of new ways to approach challenging issues, gain alignment, and, as a true business partner, support the optimization of clients’ processes.
As the gatekeeper for projects to MLR, Joanna’s goal is to deliver projects as intended that showcase the expertise of the editorial, instructional design, and project management teams.
What do you most enjoy about your work?
I’ve had the opportunity to mentor and empower team members who were brand-new to the MLR space to perform independently with accuracy, becoming certified in Veeva Vault. I’ve found great satisfaction in fostering a collaborative and supportive environment in which the team can achieve their full potential.
Hobbies
My 3 children and I enjoy volunteering, spending summer days at the beach, gardening, and escaping into a good book series.
